I, Anjna resident of Maya Enclave. My son got infected with COVID on 23rd April. The daily count of cases was 26-28k at that point of time with panic being struck in the entire country. With the second wave striking the nation, the doctors were super busy and were not taking calls and providing consultation. My son had high fever for 3-4 days continuously and I wasn’t able to get an appointment with the doctors to discuss the situation. During that time Dr. Sonia came forward, she offered us free consultations and advice and kept a check on daily progress of my son. She also arranged for the required COVID marker tests for which I was not able to get booking from various labs . I was very panicked and scared for my son but Dr. Sonia like an angel held my hand and gave all the emotional strength to me and my son to defeat corona and come out as a corona warrior. Although that time she herself was a corona patient but very selflessly and kindly she was giving free consultations to me and many other residents of Maya Enclave. Along with this she was in constant touch with RWA to arrange oxygen cylinders and concentrators for the residents as the hospitals were fully packed . She even offered to look after the care facility and also grant to purchase concentrators . I salute her humanitarian attitude and service for society. We are lucky to have her as our fellow resident. God bless her for all the acts of kindness and support during these unprecedented times.
